Groundbreaking Celebration
Join us for Avenue East Cobb’s Groundbreaking celebration! The ceremony will take place in the Central Lot with lite bites, drinks, live music, and more, all leading up to the big moment as the wrecking ball comes down to kick off our redevelopment!
Schedule of Events – RSVPs are now closed but that doesn’t mean you can’t join us! When you arrive, please head to the event entrance and check in at the main table.
5 PM: Check-in at the event entrance located in Central Boulevard *by Kale Me Crazy.
During the event:
- Experience live music, roaming entertainment, Plein air artist, and stop by to have your portrait made by an award-winning caricature artist
- Grab a drink at the bar, operated by Drift Fish House + Oyster Bar
- Enjoy passed light bites and sweet treats from
- Stop by the Kendra Scott Pop-Up Color Bar to customize a piece to commemorate the day. Anyone who makes a purchase at Groundbreaking will be entered to win an Avenue East Cobb jewelry set created just for the occasion!
6 PM: All eyes turn towards the stage as District 2 Commissioner Jerica Richardson, District 3 Commissioner JoAnn Birrell + North American Properties’ Managing Partner, Tim Perry share their remarks on this momentous occasion for Avenue East Cobb.
6:25 PM: Make sure you have a good view as the wrecking ball makes its first swing!
6:30 – 7 PM: Enjoy live music + libations as we close out the evening.
7 PM: Head to Kendra Scott for a post event shopping experience
