Kentucky Derby

Saddle up for our annual Kentucky Derby party! Get your finest hats & bowties ready as we bring the excitement of the race to The Plaza. Join us for mint juleps, horse betting, and the thrill of the track on our jumbo LED screen on Saturday, May 3rd from 5 – 7PM.

Experience Details:

• Live music
• Horse Race Betting
  • $2 for 1 Ticket OR $5 for 4 tickets. All proceeds will be donated to Chastain Horse Park‘s therapeutic program.
  • A winner will be drawn from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place horse. Winners will be contacted on Monday, May 4th and receive the ultimate Avenue East Cobb gift basket.
• Mint Juleps & additional themed libations from Peach State Pizza

Schedule of Events:

• 5 – 6:30PM:
  • Enjoy the live music
  • Horse betting is open during this time
• 6:30PM:
  • Race betting closes
  • The LED screen & sound will switch over to the Kentucky Derby
• 6:57PM: The race begins!
• 7PM: Thanks for joining us, Adventurers!
